《L’Instant du Thé》  is a seasonal tea experience created by FORMOSA Brew, designed around the rhythm of time, the turning of the seasons, and the cultural depth of Taiwanese tea.

Structured by Seasons and Episodes, each gathering follows a specific moment in the year—guided by solar terms, seasonal transitions, and everyday life in Taiwan. Rather than presenting tea as a fixed tradition, 《L’Instant du Thé》 invites guests to experience tea as something living, responsive, and closely connected to its environment.

Seasons, Episodes, and the Flow of Time

Each Season forms a complete chapter, and each Episode within it explores a distinct theme inspired by climate, festivals, or seasonal nourishment. This structure allows participants to return week after week, encountering Taiwanese tea through changing temperatures, aromas, and moods.

By following the natural rhythm of the year, tea becomes not only something to taste, but a way to observe how nature, culture, and daily life move together.

Taiwan Tea: Depth, Diversity, and Adaptation

Taiwan’s tea culture is shaped by a mountainous island landscape where cultivation is never easy. Steep terrain, shifting weather, and limited space have led to an extraordinary diversity of tea styles—often created through careful adaptation rather than large-scale production.

This diversity reflects the character of the people who grow and craft the tea: resilient, resourceful, and open to innovation. From lightly oxidized oolongs to deeply roasted or naturally honeyed teas, each expression carries both environmental influence and human choice.

L’Instant du Thé highlights this layered relationship, showing how Taiwan tea responds differently to season, place, and method—much like the society from which it comes.

A Tea House Experience, Without Barriers

《L’Instant du Thé》 takes place in the setting of a tea house, combined with the openness of a workshop. There are no formal presentations, no elaborate rituals, and no prior tea knowledge required.

Each episode offers a curated tea set, accompanied by written materials and the presence of the founder for quiet conversation and questions. Guests are free to sit, taste, read, or simply enjoy the moment at their own pace.

With quality tea, simple tools, and time well spent, the experience remains accessible while retaining depth.
