The Tea Circle Brussels and FORMOSA BREW present a curated sensory workshop

BRUSSELS — The Tea Circle Brussels and FORMOSA BREW invite guests to an exclusive afternoon dedicated to one of the world's most underrepresented fine beverages: premium Taiwanese tea.
Often described by connoisseurs as the "Grand Crus" of the tea world, high-grade Taiwanese teas are the product of exceptional microclimates, mineral-rich soils, and generations of artisanal mastery. Yet they remain largely unknown to European palates — a gap this workshop is designed to close.
The session will be curated and led by a Certified Taiwanese Tea Taster with over fifteen years of expertise in cross-cultural flavour translation. Participants will explore a selection of 8+ rare teas, spanning the full spectrum from delicate, unroasted floral high-mountain Oolongs to deep, complex roasted varieties.
Beyond tasting, the afternoon offers a guided inquiry into the distinct flavour profiles shaped by altitude, climate, and soil — and the stories behind each tea: the people, the traditions, and the landscapes that make them globally sought after.
FORMOSA BREW is the Brussels-based maison dedicated to establishing Taiwanese Grand Cru tea as a language of equal depth to wine in European fine dining and corporate culture. The brand is endorsed by the Taiwan Embassy in the EU & Belgium.
